Wirehaired Pointing Griffons
Breeding Program

Breeding Program

Our breeding program at Silverback Griffs is built with intention, patience, and a commitment to quality. We are focused on producing Wirehaired Pointing Griffons with strong natural instinct, sound structure, excellent temperament, and the versatility to excel as both hunting dogs and loyal family companions.

We have previously produced two litters, giving us valuable hands-on experience in raising, evaluating, and placing Griffons with the right families and hunting homes. That experience continues to shape how we move forward with our program.

Our next litter

Our foundation pair is Whiskey, our dam, and Sigbot, our sire. This pairing reflects the traits we value most: intelligence, trainability, drive in the field, and steadiness at home.

Whiskey is expected to be ready for breeding in 2027.

We are intentionally taking our time to do this right, prioritizing long-term quality over rushing production.

Our goal is simple: to produce well-bred Griffons that become trusted hunting partners and exceptional companions.

Both Whiskey and Sigbot are AKC registered
